About me

I started my journey with Carnatic Music at the age of 9 under Mrs Seethalakshmi from TKG Gurukulam -OMR. One of my most significant early experiences was performing in the Thyagaraja Aradhana at the age of 14 with the Music School at Thiruvaiyaru, performing at our first annual day, and in temples across Chennai. I started learning the piano at the age of 15 and have completed Grade 5 Examination conducted by Trinity College of London. A Major Milestone for me was receiving the 1st prize in Chennai city in my Grade 3 Piano Examination conducted by Trinity College of London.
APL Global School helped nurture my music skills, where I sang in school events and was part of the school band. In 11th grade, I opted to pursue the Creative Arts course, which gave space to my creativity and expression through Art and Music. At the age of 17, I started my journey into music production by creating a body of work that encouraged me to make music my future. I also attended and completed a course in Live Sound that dealt with the operation of the Analog and Digital Mixing Console. I work as a Live sound operator for the LN & Friends music programmes.

At the age of 18, I joined KM music conservatory, where I learnt various fields of Music, such as composition, performance, production etc., for three years. During the course of 3 years, I learnt music production more in-depth. Another significant experience was the opportunity to teach music production for AR Rahman's Sunshine Orchestra, collaborating with various groups as a mixing and mastering engineer and performing commercially for the first time.
At the age of 21, I progressed to Middlesex University in London to do my final year of study in music. I specialised in music production, wherein I got opportunities to work in a professional music environment and use equipment used in today's Music industry. I received opportunities to record music for other musicians live in a professional recording studio, operating the live sound mixing console for various university events, Placements in various studios in London, collaborating with people across the creative industries, and working on mixing commercial projects.

At the age of 22, I decided to pursue my Master of Arts in Music and Audio Production at Buckinghamshire New University, High Wycombe campus, United Kingdom, to refine my technology skills and learn in-depth music and audio recording, mixing, and mastering using a wide range of analogue and digital technologies. During this period, I had the opportunity to be the lead recording and mixing engineer for various projects by undergraduate students and bands both from and around the university. I also had the chance to learn to mix and add sound effects for visuals, mixing music in Dolby Atmos spatial audio, and assisting many students with the technical operations of the studios.
